Security Software Engineer with the role of Security Champion

To strengthen our Research & Development Team, we are looking for a Security Software Engineer who will play a key role in protecting our systems and data from increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. This role will be responsible for integrating security into the software development process. In addition, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop leadership and mentoring skills by becoming a Security Champion, promoting cybersecurity awareness throughout the entire organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct code reviews to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in the code
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement security best practices
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of security policies and procedures for software development
  • Perform software security testing
  • Use static and dynamic analysis tools to identify security vulnerabilities
  • Stay up to date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • Experience in code review and SecDevOps processes
  • Strong knowledge of software security concepts
  • Experience with static and dynamic security analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong problem-solving mindset
