Würth IT Italy is more than just a company; it’s a story of passion and dedication that has continuously pushed the boundaries of technology and IT solutions.

Würth IT Italy, originally known as Würth Phoenix, was founded in 2000 in Bolzano under the leadership of Hubert Kofler, with a clear ambition: to design IT in a way that strengthens business models, stabilizes processes, and enables sustainable growth. The company’s origins lie in the ERP project Auratix, developed for the Würth Group and proven in complex, international environments.
With the appointment of Michael Piok to the management board in 2002, the company began a phase of targeted international scaling – technologically, organizationally, and strategically.
The entry of Thomas Burkhart in 2024 further strengthened the leadership team, sharpening the focus on strategic IT alignment, efficiency, security, and future readiness. Today, the management team combines many years of operational experience with a clear focus on business objectives.
With offices in Bolzano, Rome, and Milan, Würth IT Italy is present where decisions are made. This proximity enables us to identify challenges early, reduce risks, and deliver solutions that create measurable business impact.
Since 2025, the company has operated under the name Würth IT Italy as an integral part of the global Würth IT network. For decision‑makers, this means high scalability, proven best practices, maximum stability, and access to international expertise – combined with the flexibility and responsiveness of a local partner.
